Why does modprobe hang while loading a Zaptel kernel module?

If modprobe hangs while loading a zaptel kernel module, try the following:

    1. Remove all zaptel-related entries from /etc/modules.conf.
    2. Remove all zaptel-related entries from /etc/modprobe.conf.
    3. Run "make install" in the zaptel source directory to have it add the correct entries to the modules.conf and modprobe.conf files.

Now you should be able to load the zaptel kernel module without it hanging.
