I'm using E&M Wink channels on a T1/E1 line and Asterisk is not getting the correct CallerID or DID numbers. What is the problem? |
|
| There are several variations of E&M Wink that telcos use, but the telcos generally group them all under the heading E&M Wink regardless of what variation is actually running on the line. If the variation you have set and the variation the telco is using are mismatched, the result is often missing or repeated CID or DID numbers. The most common alternate implementation of E&M Wink is called Feature Group D (featd for zapata.conf). Another is Feature Group B (featb for zapata.conf). First, change your signalling to featd on your E&M Wink line and make a few test calls. If you are still having issues, try using featb, featdmf, or featdmf_ta for the signalling. | |
